What Payment Methods Do You Accept?
When placing an order on ITGirlEssentials.com, only one credit/debit card may be used per order. If you are paying with an IT Girl Essentials gift card, a credit/debit card may be used for any additional balance owed. Gift cards with Visa, MasterCard, or American Express logos are redeemed like a credit card and cannot be used with a second credit/debit card.

Why Am I Getting an Error Message When I Try to Submit My Order?
- First, verify that you have correctly entered your payment information, including your billing address & zip.
- Next, try changing the form of payment you are using for your order.

ORDER PROCESSING & FULFILLMENT
How Can I Check the Status of My Order?
Orders of in-stock items are processed and shipped within (2) business days of receipt of your order and approved payment. Shipment confirmation & delivery tracking information are provided via email once your order has been shipped.
While we currently do not offer online order tracking while your order is undergoing processing & fulfillment, it is a service that will be available in the future. In the meantime, if you have questions about a submitted order please feel free to send us an email at email@example.com to inquire about the status. Email inquiries are typically responded to within 48 hours.
If you have created an online account with us, you can always log into your account and review your order history.
NOTE: It may take up to 48 hours after an order has shipped before tracking information becomes available in the carrier's system. Please allow sufficient time before making inquiries related to shipment tracking.
Why Didn't I receive My Order Confirmation Email?
If you didn't receive your Order or Shipment Confirmation email, please contact us at (757) 524-0258 or send an email to firstname.lastname@example.org so that we can confirm the email address associated with your order.
Typically, problems receiving emails is often caused by either an email sitting in a "junk" mailbox or an incorrectly typed email address at the time of order. Additionally, please make sure that when using PayPal to pay for your order, that an alternate email is not associated with your PayPal account, as your Order Confirmation email may have been sent there.
Changing or Cancelling Your Order
When you submit an order through our checkout page, it immediately begins to process and therefore can't be changed or cancelled.
Sometimes orders or specific item(s) from an order are cancelled by our system. There are a few reasons why this can happen, and it varies from errors detected in credit/debit card billing information to items that have sold out. If, for any reason, your order or items from your order are cancelled, we will contact you by email with a detailed explanation. You will not be billed for any cancelled items.
What If My Item Arrives Damaged or Defective?
If your order arrives with a damaged or defective item, please contact Customer Service by sending an email to email@example.com. Please reference your order number and include all relevant details. We will be happy to review the circumstances and discuss options.
What If My Package is Late or Lost?
After you have tracked your shipped package and the carrier's system shows your package status as "delivered", but your order hasn't yet arrived, please allow the carrier one additional business day past the delivered scan.
In the meantime, please check around for your package. Some carriers leave packages in places they feel more safe, secure and unseen from the street. Check with a neighbor or your Apartment Rental Office (if you live in an apartment) to see if they have accepted delivery on your behalf.
